L.A. Dog Whisperer Leads the Pack

For more than 20 years, dog psychologist Cesar Millan has trained problem pooches and their frustrated owners. His communication techniques and understanding of canine pack behavior have even earned him a National Geographic television show called The Dog Whisperer. NPR's Karen Grigsby Bates recently joined Millan to watch him talk to the dogs.

I continue to see Cesar's methods mis-understood simply by the way people mis-use terminology. How many times does someone have to hear the expression that Cesar "Trains People (not dogs)". He does not "Train" dogs. He Rehabilitates them. There is a world of difference in those two expressions. Just like there is a world of difference between "Discipline and Punishment". The people that are so anti-Ceasar just don't get it, and they probably never will if they can't understand the difference. I'd hate to see what their children act like.
