Dog Days

Sometimes I really can't be bothered making my breakfast. I go straight for the coffee and computer. This is that morning.

marstokyo

Parker woke me at 5:45 wanting to go out. It's a terrible habit she's developed and one I'd love to break her of. I need the Dog Whisperer. She's gotten real barky and demanding and she never used to do this. 5:45am is just downright unacceptable. It's like having an infant. And not in a good way. infant. And not in a good way.

Buy the book "Caeser's Way" by Caeser Milan. It gives great insight as to the mechanics of dog psychology. My dog had also turned into the household "brat" busily figuring how to have her own way. This book taught me how to retrain myself, not my dog. She is now a very well behaved little lady and no longer wakes me to go out in the morning, she waits for me to get up and let her out. You have to take the control away from your dog and demand that he/she follow you, not the other way around. I do have to add though that this method will require a great deal of dedication on your part and a lot of time on a daily basis. There are no easy ways around it and if the ideas in this book do not appeal to you maybe a cat would be a better suited pet for your lifestyle. I bought the book and honestly put the practices described into play in my household and within 48 hours everyone detected the difference in our dog. Hail Caeser!
